Policies & Terms of Service
We accept personal checks, money orders, debit, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
*There is a $40 additional charge for all NSF checks. Plus a $5.00 processing fee.
All sales are final.
Booking- We suggest that you book your character as soon as possible. Same day or 24 hr booking may be accomplished, however a $20 rush fee will be added to your invoice with no notice. All of our bookings are on a first come first served basis. We will not hold a date unless payment has been received. Even if your calling right back!
Deposits - A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The balance of your visit is due no later than two days before your event if paying by credit card and no later than seven days before if paying by check, if payment is not received your event will be cancelled. We accept visa, mastercard, discover, cash, and check.
Refunds- If you accept your character for entertainment we will not offer a refund. If there is a problem with your visit we will be happy to offer a percentage refund of your package as long as the issue was caused by Princess Couture/Party Boutique. If for any reason your character is more than 30 mins late and we are at fault you have the option to cancel that visit with a full refund and not accept the character or you can accept the character at a 25% discount.
Visit - Our characters come prepared to entertain for the time that they have been hired for. DO NOT schedule other activities during your characters visit. Scheduling other activities will cause you to lose time with your character and activities being cut. If your visit runs over you will be billed on your final invoice in 30 minute increments without prior notice. If you have additional guest they will be billed to your invoice with no notice.
Substitutions - There are no substitutions on character packages. If you choose not to have something that comes with the package it cannot be re-placed or taken away for a cheaper price. Packages are priced as is.
Minimum/Maximum Attendance: Our packages are designed for up to 15 guests (including the guest of honor). We do not recommend groups larger than 15 because they begin to take away from the quality of the visit and the amount of activities that we can offer during the visit.
Discipline and Non-participation: The party hostess is responsible for the flow of the party and the party activities. We kindly ask that you monitor disruptive behavior and attend to any child who does not want to participate. This will help us to provide the best possible party experience for you and your child.
Food Allergies: If you choose a package which provides food items it is the responsibility of the client to check with party guests for specific food allergies. Should any of your guests have severe food allergies, we suggest that either you or the child’s parent provide an alternate menu for that child.
Inclement Weather/Illness: In the case of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances/illness, Party Boutique Reserves the right to reschedule your visit. If you choose to cancel the party due to severe weather or illness, please remember that your deposit is non-refundable. We will gladly work with you to reschedule your party for an alternate date, we will try to schedule it for the first available date that we have. Please be advised, if new invitations, food or beverages are needed there will be an additional charge. Party Boutique will reschedule your event if there is a level 2 or level 3 warning in any county in which we have to travel.
Cancellations/Rescheduling/Refunds: All cancellation must be done within 30 days of your event in writing. Cancellations will not be taken over the telephone or thru internet e-mail. Cancellations under 30 days are non-refundable. In the event you need to cancel we will re-schedule your event one time. Due to the type of service that we offer there are no refunds. If you attempt to process a chargeback of your services we will take legal action and collect all fees associated with the collection process. The only instance in which Party Boutique will issue a refund is if we are at fault and you refuse the character at the time of arrival. If your character arrives and we are the cause for lateness or bad service and you accept the character you will be responsible for the full price of the visit. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Travel Fee: A travel fee of $1.25 for every mile traveled over 30-mile radius (coming and going) will be added to the final balance if the party location is outside a 30-mile radius of Grove City, Ohio.
Liability: Party Boutique, Inc is insured by NorthPointe Insurance Group. Party Boutique, Inc assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages. In the event of damage or loss of Party Boutique, Inc inventory and/or damage or loss to the party’s location, the financial responsibility lies entirely on the client. Party Boutique, Inc is not responsible for allergic reactions or any other medical reaction stemming from the menu, wearing of costumes, or any activity taken place before, during and/or after the party. In the case of liability and/or financial remuneration due to the aforementioned, the responsibility lies strictly with the client.
Terms & Agreements - By paying your deposit and signing of the contract you are agreeing to our polices and terms of service. Party Boutique, Inc has the right to bill your credit card for any additional charges that you accrue on your final invoice, or bill you by invoice. If you reverse charges or we receive returned checks you will be responsible for the collection fees for us to collect the amount due.
